You don't necessarily need to solve all the individual clues; there are so many of them so that whatever your field of knowlege you're likely to be able to get enough answers to figure out the common bond.

One thing that has tripped people up: If you Google "Beethoven symphony Fantasia" you'll probably end up with the wrong one, since one of Beethoven's symphonies was based on an earlier work of his that has the word "Fantasia" in its title.

There is no particular "trick" to this puzzle, and no subtext in the title.
